~NON-SPOILER~
Holy crap! This movie was amazing from beginning to end! Peter and MJ’s chemistry was fantastic and smooth. It felt like the Peter/MJ relationship we all know and love. Jake Gyllenhaal was perfect as Mysterio and did a great job bring the character to the big screen. The films pacing was pretty good as it kept you pulled in through most of it. It didn’t drag on but it was slow as some points which in some cases is perfectly fine. The cinematography by Matt Lloyd was solid. This is definitely one of the best Spidey films to come out. so I highly recommend you do go see it and be aware that the movie does include spoilers for Avengers: Endgame.

🚨🚨SPOILER REVIEW🚨🚨 Final Warning ⚠️ This Spider-Man movie really teases and sets up Peter and MJ’s relationship. For fans that read and love the comics, it was pretty obvious Mysterios heroics were obviously just apart of his illusions and Director Jon Watts does it in a fantastic way without giving it away too early in the film. The big illusion scene was executed to perfection in my opinion. The visuals were fantastic and it really show cased what all Mysterio can really do and how dangerous he is. The zombie Ironman was a nice surprise and it shows that Peter is emotionally hurt over Tony’s death. Although, I feel like that would’ve been the perfect Uncle Ben Easter egg. Overall it was very fun seeing Spider-Man become the hero he is meant to be by taking on the big bad by himself.

Man! This movie was amazing! Though I’d still choose the original movie but this one is still really really good! Donald Glover and Beyoncé were a great choice as Simba and Nala! It was really nice seeing their takes in the characters. But obviously Timon (Billy Eichner) and Pumbaa (Seth Roger) stole the show! They were super hilarious and honestly the best part of the movie. The detail Disney put into this movie was astounding! Even the smallest details were noticeable and it was awesome. I did notice a few differences between the original and the remake but it was nothing too important. The cinematography was on point! Especially in the scenes with Scar. It really put the emphasis on his villainous way!
